David Moret, Chambolle Musigny 'Vielles Vignes', Burgundy, France, 2021

Chambolle Musigny is my favourite appellation in the Côte de Nuits.  It combines finesse with power in perfect harmony and when the fruit is ripe and generous too it all works perfectly.  David Moret has done just this.  Supremely brilliant grape growing and wine making have resulted in a wine that's delicious now with the backbone to develop in bottle over the next 10 or so years.
