Duffour Père et Fils, IGP, Cotes de Gascogne, France, 2023

This is such a charming, tasty, refreshing white.  The Duffour family blend Colombard, Ugni Blanc and Gros Manseng here to make a wine that's really a dead ringer for a super zippy Sauvignon Blanc.  It's just 11.5% alcohol so it's light but it packs a punch.  Bursting with gooseberry, nectarine and green apple this vibrant wine screams, 'chill me and pour me sharpish ... and if you're feeling up for it - stick an oyster alongside me too.'
