St Peray Blanc 'Fleur de Roc' 2021, Cave de Tain, Northern Rhone

This might be 'left field' in name and reputation but it's anything but in flavour.  St Peray is a 65 hectare appellation in the Northern Rhone, close to Cornas, and it's known for it's complex granite, chalk and clay soils that produce wines of extraordinary finesse and elegance.  This is old vine Marsanne - orange blossom on the nose that gives way to ripe nectarine and peach on the palate with a wonderful saline edge to it.  Completely fabulous white Rhone that we can't recommend highly enough ... for drinking now.
