Greywacke Sauvignon Blanc, Marlborough New Zealand, 2023

This is benchmark Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc that stands head and shoulders above the jungle juice that floods our supermarket shelves.  The winery is owned and run by Kevin Judd who put Cloudy Bay on the map in the 1980's.  This has pure fruit - grapefruit, citrus, greengage and more, together with a finesse more usually found in the Loire.  Long live well made NZ Sauvignon ...
