Corryton Burge Cabernet Sauvignon, Barossa, Australia, 2019

The Barossa is famed for it's big, bold, expressive reds and this one's that in spades.  It's a full bodied, spicy, generous gob full of black fruit, made by one of the most well respected names in the Barossa - the Burge family.  It looks like a full bodied Cab - deep crimson in colour, thick in texture, and it smells and tasted like one too, blending the blackcurrant, blackberry, mint and spice beautifully.  A perfect winter warmer.
