De Loach, `Heritage Collection` Pinot Noir, California, USA, 2022

This wine should scare growers in Burgundy.  It's classy, elegant, ripe and completely delicious.  The grapes for this were handpicked and no expense has been spared in the wine making.  Time spent in oak has given the ripe strawberry and black cherry fruit a softness and spiciness that Burgundians would dream of at this price.  So, if you like super smooth, super classy Pinot then this is your wine.  It's certainly mine.
