David Moret, Marsannay, Burgundy, France, 2021

We were lucky enough to be offered a slug of David's 2021 Marsannay which is supremely delicious and elegant red burgundy.  Grown north of Gevrey-Chambertin, this has all the traits of it's elder brother - elegance and power combine in an envelope of ripe red fruit and soft supple tannin.  A really properly well made Pinot Noir totally in the Côte de Nuits style.
